Ana L EscobedoBand Teacher / 4 yearsMy reason WHY I teach music is to pass on my musical passion to my students for wholesome growth as wonderful people of society. I started my music education at age 11 by playing the clarinet. I studied with amazing music teachers growing up in El Paso Texas. I am most grateful for the wonderful music education that was provided to me by Kenneth Capshaw, Anthony Sanchez, Janie Sanchez, Vin Richards, Mark Saenz, Carl Ortega, Stephanie Otero, Dr. David Ross, and Dr. David Dousa. I now obtain a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from the University of Texas at El Paso. My experience in teaching has included elementary music, summer music camps, middle school band, middle school choir, Autism block, private lessons in clarinet, piano, and vocal. I grew up in the El Paso/Juarez area as a bilingual and love working with people and students that are learning to speak English. Over the years I have learned many other instruments like the piano, guitar, flute, and saxophone. I also love to play for local music theater Broadway plays with the UTEP Dinner Theater. My hobbies include songwriting, singing, cooking, fitness, and dancing. I hope to continue spreading the gift of music to the young minds of our world for many years to come! -<3- Ms Escobedo! |
